610 Medical Groundbreaking

Timco Construction, alongside Davis, recently broke ground on a new medical facility in Brooklyn Park. The new facility, known as 610 Medical, will be located along the Highway 610 corridor, off the Zane Avenue exit. Allina Health System and Surgical Care Affiliates, a division of Optum, have partnered to bring the community a new 18,000 SF ambulatory surgery center which will be located in the new medical building. Construction is scheduled to be complete in early 2022.

“We are extremely honored to have a part in this project. When complete this new medical facility will bring state-of-the-art resources to the Brooklyn Park and surrounding communities,” stated Tim McKee, Chairman and CEO of Timco Construction.

As healthcare continues to evolve, shifting to a less costly model, ambulatory care has become one of the fastest-growing segments of the healthcare industry. As opposed to having surgery at a traditional hospital, ambulatory care clinics provide an alternative site for patients to receive medical procedures.
