New Medical Building in Brooklyn Park

We are proud to announce that we’ve been named general contractor for a new medical building in Brooklyn Park. In partnership with the healthcare real estate development firm, Davis, and Synergy Architecture Studio, construction of the 40,000 SF, two-story, class-A medical building will begin this spring.

Located off of Highway 610 near 96th Lane North and Zane Avenue North, the new medical building in Brooklyn Park will be home to an 18,000 SF surgery center, operated in partnership by Allina and Surgical Care Affiliates, Optum‘s surgical center business unit (a division of UnitedHealth Group). The design of the new surgery center includes four-operating rooms and other state-of-the-art amenities. The new ambulatory surgery center will provide a convenient, high-quality, lower-cost healthcare alternative for patients living in the Twin Cities northern metro.

Construction of the project will be led by Patrick Finn, senior project manager and Chris Kiehne, superintendent. Construction is scheduled to be complete in spring of 2022.

“With the pandemic accelerating the need to deliver more cost-effective, efficient and personalized patient care, we are proud of our ability and thankful for the opportunity to help meet the growing demand for ambulatory surgery centers in the northern metro,” stated Tim McKee, chairman and CEO of Timco Construction.
