Consolidating to increase operational efficiencies

Hazelwood Medical Building, anchored by HealthEast Care System and located adjacent to the St. John’s Hospital campus in Maplewood, opened the fall of 2017. The 148,000 SF, three-story, multi-tenant structure showcases several trends in the medical office building market and features the latest in medical facility amenities, including an abundance of natural light, an open staircase, coffee bar and a linear fireplace.

The project demonstrates a significant accomplishment for the Timco team, with two expansions happening after construction began in order to meet the increased needs of tenants. Even with the increased scope, the team was still able to deliver the completed facility within 30 days of the original completion date. The new facility also achieved HealthEast’s objectives by helping to increase operational efficiencies by consolidating their services to a single high-quality, efficient and cost-effective facility.
